ADMISSION GUIDELINES

The candidates seeking admission in the college must read the prospectus carefully before filling the application form

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

The instructions related to the offline admission are given here, which are authorized under the Rules and regulations of the College.

• Gap Certificate if there is gap in taking admission after intermediate, then an affidavit certified by the Notary on Rs. 10.00 Stamp paper has to be submitted at the time of admission.
• The detailed information of the admission procedure will be displayed on the College website. Candidates are advised to check for updates regularly on the College Website.
• After declaration of the merit list will be displayed on the Notice Board of College candidate herself will find her merit list. The merit list will not be published in the newspaper.
• All fees deposited at the time of admission will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• As directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, action will be taken against the students who indulge in incidence like ragging during studentship.
• Caste Certificate, domocile certificate and income certificates shall be verified on internet.
• The University reserves the right to change or amend the admission rules at any time without prior notification so it is necessary for us to follow the rules.
• If any candidate gets admission on the basis of false information/improper means or on the basis of false marksheet her admission will be cancelled from the beginning and legal action will be taken against her under IPC.
• College reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.
• If the candidate has passed out from Hindi Sahilya Sammelan, Prayag, Allahabad has not passed Intermediate with language then she will not be eligible for admission.
• All the candidates are required to submit self attested photocopies of the following documents along with their application form .All the candidates are further requested to appear in front of the admission committee along with their parents.a) High School certificate and marksheet (Photocopy)
b) Intermediate certificate and marksheet (Photocopy)
c) Marksheet of last examination/qualifying examination passed (Marksheet of I,II,III year).
d) Transfer Certificate(original)or center certificate(applicable for private candidates)
e) Gap certificate(if applicable)
f) Migration Certificate for PG students (Passed UG from another University)
g) 4 passport size colored photographs of the candidate

1. Faculty of Arts(Currently running with 12 subjects)
2. Faculty of Commerce.

ELIGIBILTY FOR B.A.

• Intermediate or equivalent examination. The minimum marks required for General and other Backward classes candidates is 40%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33%* of marks. *This percentage is based upon total marks of all the subjects.• B.A is three-year course and is being run as per the prescribed norms of the University of Lucknow. Examinations are conducted after completion of each year. The College offers the following subjects in B.A Stream. As per University norms, one subject is chosen from Group A and one from Group B. The third subject can be chosen from any of the two groups.

• Practical Exams in Psychology, Home Science and Physical Education are held each year.
• Practical examination in Education takes place only in the third year.
• Home science and Physical Education cannot be offered together.
• AIH and History cannot be offered together.
• Psychology and Education cannot be offered together.
• Hindi and English cannot be offered together.
• Some subjects will not be given together according to the timetable.
Candidates have to select three subjects from any groups.
According to the University norms students have to
 opts for 3 subjects in B.A. I which are continued in B.A. II. The students need to drop one of the three subjects in B.A III.
• To avoid inconvenience to both the students and the college, the candidates are expected to choose their subject carefully. It will not be allowed to change the subject.
• The Candidate can only change their subject till 7th of August of the session.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.COM

B.com is the three-year course and is being run as per prescribed norms of University of Lucknow . Examinations are conducted after completion of each year.• Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study.The minimum marks required for General and other Backward classes candidates is 40%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33%* of marks *The percentage is based upon total marks of all subjects.

• Syllabus may be seen on the Website of Lucknow University.
• Medium of Instructions both in English and Hindi.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.COM (HONORS)

B.com (Hons) is a three-year course which comprises six semesters and is being run as per the prescribed norms of University of Lucknow. Examinations are conducted after completion of each semester.• Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects of study. For General and other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 60 %* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 55%*.
*The percentage is based upon total marks of all subjects.• English medium students are eligible.

ELIGIBILITY FOR BBA

The aim of this course is to make the students of business management aware of the various aspects of the business. 
B.B.A is a three-year course which comprises six semesters and is being run as per the prescribed norms of the University of Lucknow. Examinations are conducted after completion of each semester.• Intermediate or equivalent examination for general and other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 50%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 45%*.
*The percentage is based upon total marks of all subjects.
*English medium students are eligible.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PG COURSES

A candidate will be eligible for admission to Postgraduate Courses if she has completed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with 10+2+3 system from any University Grants Commission and has secured a minimum 45%* of marks at graduate level. However, for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks will be 40%**Eligibility percentages of marks may vary for some courses.  Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before offline application.
• A candidate can not pursue two Postgraduate degree courses simultaneously
• A candidate who has already completed Postgraduate course in one subject will not be eligible for the second Postgraduate course except professional course
• College reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage
• The fees of different courses will be displayed on college website

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS OF II, III YEAR AND SEMESTER CLASSES

• Admission forms are available for B.A II, III, B.Com II, III year and all semester classes.
• All students are required to complete their admission forms by date Ist July 2017 to 15th August 2017
• The last date of form submission and fee deposit is 16 August 2017.
• Fine will be charged from 17 August 2017.
• Students will keep the receipts issued to them in proof of payment fees to be produced when needed.Those who lose the fee receipt will be charged a fine.
